New York City is famous for its high school graduates, but it also boasts the highest share of residents with a bachelor’s degree.
The state’s population is more educated than any other in the country, according to a new report from the Pew Research Center.
According to the report, New York has a whopping 63.3 percent of adults with a college degree.
California’s share is closer to 36 percent, and Washington, D.C. has a higher share at 37.2 percent.
The U.S. is a leader in the share of adults who have graduated from college, according the report.
It also has the highest percentage of people who hold a bachelor of science degree.
However, it also has some of the worst-educated residents, with just 7.7 percent of residents having a bachelor in science.
The survey, which was conducted in January 2017 and surveyed a sample of 1,532 adults, also found that the U.K. has the lowest proportion of adults without a bachelor degree, at 6.3.
